Every export above is also available over a read-only Model Context Protocol server, with a machine-readable catalog of the endpoints below and a JSON Schema for the records, so a program can validate what it downloads instead of inferring field names.
- MCP endpoint — JSON-RPC over HTTP, public read-only, no authentication
- MCP server card — describes that server before a client connects
- OpenAPI description — every endpoint below as one machine-readable description, with a content schema for each
- API catalog — every machine-readable endpoint, as a linkset
- JSON Schema for the records —
/schema/church.json,/schema/county.jsonand/schema/network.json, documentinglastUpdated, the free-textgatherings[].timeand the county and network paths - Recent changes feed — Atom feed of the church records updated most recently
- llms.txt — plain-text guide to the directory for agents
- skills.txt — index of agent skills, with SKILL.md for searching this directory
- churches.geojson — churches that have coordinates, as map points
- One church as JSON —
/churches/<slug>.json, for a single record without downloading the whole export
The JSON, YAML, GeoJSON and per-church exports carry the license as license, licenseName and licenseUrl fields, so a consumer can read the terms without parsing this page. In the same exports lastUpdated is an ISO 8601 instant of the date a contributor last verified the record, which is not a promise that it is still current.
License
The records in every export above are dedicated to the public domain under the CC0 1.0 Universal. Use them freely, including commercially, with no attribution required. Crediting Utah Churches and linking the church page you used is welcome but not required.
The site source code is a separate work and is MIT License licensed, which does keep its copyright notice. The public domain dedication above does not extend to the code.
